NYLON TV

These girls have become famous for their talents, but also for their personalities which they show through their style. Mary Kate Olsen, Alexa Chung and Kristen Stewart are fashion muses and they have influenced my wardrobe immensely. Here are the behind the scenes videos of their fashion shoots for nylon magazine.

Amazing Cardigan

I love this Rodarte hand-knit cardigan. It's absolutely gorgeous and I can't get enough of it. I'm going to try make one, but I doubt it's going to look that great (unfortunately).

Two looks I **LOVE**

One of my daily routines is looking through the teenvogue website. When I saw the feature "urban outfitters: fall coats" i fell love with these two looks.
RIGHT OF WAY

Wren jacket, $340. Vans shirt, $38. Marc by Marc Jacobs pants. White + Warren scarf, $250. Aerial7 headphones, $50. DKNY Active shoes, $175. Alexandra Cassaniti bag, $300.

FIERCE CREATURE
A.P.C. top, $180, and coat. Truc and Letty skirt, $300. Eskuché headphones, $60. Buji Baja by Hat Attack scarf, $48, and gloves, $44. Lacoste messenger bag, $105. DC backpack, $52. Michael Michael Kors shoes, $195.

The way in which urban fashion is mixed with high fashion in this feature is absolutely stunning. It really gives a youthful and effortless air to any girl.

NEW STYLE ICON

My new style icon is Serena Van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl. The fashion in GG has had great influence on my style. I went from looking like Blair Waldorf, to Jenny new rock-chic look and now finally I have arrived (hopefully) at Serena's Kate Moss inspired, effortless look. These last 5 days I have been researching like a maniac everything to do with S's style, I'm completely hooked!!
Here are some of my favourite S outfits:

Vintage Finds

Recently I have become absolutely obsessed with vintage clothes. The bad thing is that in Portugal, or at least in Lisbon, there aren't many vintage shops and the few that exist are really expensive. It's a real shame. The vintage mania hasn't seeped into portuguese culture...YET!
Here are some of my vintage clothes:

This is my brother in law's vest from the 90's... I think.... My sister was going to through out because she hates it to death. I fell in love with it and rescued it from my sister's hands. My mum is now also obsessed with the vest. We now have fights over who's going to wear it.

The detail is just amazing! The colours and the elephant are just beautiful, reminds me of India. I can't forget to ask my brother in law where he got it.

This jacket is my mum's, but she has handed it down to me! I think it's from the 80's, again I'm not sure. My mum had it made for herself, she chose the fabric and the buttons. The fabric is really soft and the colour is just breath taking.

Again this belt belongs to my mum, well actually it's mine now :) It's also from the 80's. Every little detail is beautiful. I've been wearing it non stop.

This bag I bought in Switzerland, in a little town that I have completely forgotten the name of. The shop is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. It's pink and has roses all over the place... what else can a girl ask for?? I'm a lace addict, so I had to buy it. From the photo, you can't really see clearly, the fabric has a zebra pattern, but in creme, beige tone. I also adore the different shades of the lace, even though that might be due to the fact that it's got some years. I also bought a beautiful white coat in that store, BUT my sister stole and now it's on the other side of the Atlantic ocean!! I'm expecting it back mana! asap!
